Want to drive traffic and clear inventory fast? The Hot Deals feature lets you run targeted promotions, flash sales, and seasonal discounts directly on your storefront. Group products into “deals” that automatically apply special pricing during a scheduled timeframe — no manual price changes needed.
Create a New Hot Deal
Initialize the Deal
Navigate to Online Store > Hot Deals and click New Deal.
Configure Deal Settings
Give your promotion a clear Name (e.g., “Summer Clearance 2024”). Choose the Discount Type:
- Percentage: A flat percentage off all selected items (e.g., 20% off).
- Fixed Amount: A specific currency amount off each item (e.g., $10 off).
Scheduling: Set a Start Date and End Date and the deal activates and deactivates automatically — no need to stay up until midnight to launch a sale.
Select Products
In the Included Items section, search for and add the products you want to feature. You can select individual items or entire product categories.
Publish
Review your settings, click Save. If the start date is today (or left blank), the deal goes live on your storefront immediately.
How Hot Deals Appear Online
When a Hot Deal is active, shoppers see the discounts front and center:
- Strikethrough Pricing: The original price gets struck through with the new promotional price displayed prominently beside it.
- Sale Badges: Depending on your active Theme, a “Sale” or “-20%” badge automatically appears on the product card.
- Dedicated Landing Pages: Link to any specific Hot Deal from your Site Menu or marketing emails to drive traffic straight to the discounted items.
Managing Active Promotions
Adjust your deals at any time from the Hot Deals dashboard.
- Pause a Deal: Temporarily disable a promotion without deleting it — just toggle its status.
- Edit Items: Add or remove products from an active deal based on remaining inventory.
- Track Performance: (Coming Soon) View analytics on how many sales each promotional campaign generated.
